| Honing does not improve wall thickness variation, concentricity or ID straightness. Only size and finish are changed. Our process allows us to provide three types of tubing with different characteristics, depending on the end use. This cost effective method of improving input tube hollows or mill produced tubing can represent considerable cost savings when working with expensive nickel or titanium alloys. If your material of choice is not available in tubing, or if you cannot find the desired wall thickness, we can start with barstock and machine a precision tube to your specifications. Why settle for less, when we can provide the material, size, straightness and wall thickness that you need? |

Type 1 is tubing which is bored through the entire length in a straight line, and has the bore concentric to the OD at both ends. (the OD would still have its original bend or bow). |

Type 2 is tubing which is bored through its entire length with the bore being concentric to the OD throughout the tube. This type does not necessarily have a straight bore, but does have a uniform wall thickness, and may have a bend or bow throughout its length. |

Type 3 is tubing which is bored in a straight line, concentric to the OD at the ends, and having the OD turned or ground in a straight line, which is concentric to the ID. |
